Refuge is a gently calming formula containing similar herbal allies as our Restore and Quietude, but this combination serves as a more gentle friend for pregnant mamas, along with anyone who may be on certain medications that interact with more potent or sedative herbs, and/or those who cannot ingest any form of alcohol.

(Many of our formulas are extracted using alcohol, which dates back thousands of years as the best way to preserve the therapeutics of herbal medicine, and with the finished product you only end up with the amount of alcohol you’d see in a ripe banana, but when alcohol cannot be used at all, a sweet alternative is organic glycerin + agave, which is what we use to create Refuge.)
