  • A dual extract or double extraction is when compounds from a plant are pulled using two different methods or solvents (liquids).

    Mushrooms contain specific constituents that can only be extracted in hot water, but they also have other compounds that can only be extracted in alcohol. In order for us to benefit from all the medicinal goodness fungi has to offer, it’s important to combine both of these methods.

    For example, Reishi has over 400 nutrients and therapeutic compounds- some of which are called triterpenes (only pulled by alcohol) and some called beta-glucans and polysaccharides (only pulled by water), and all of them have a different functions and medicinal use/benefit within the body. The polysaccharides are to thank for the amazing effects this mushroom has on the immune system, and the Triterpenes offer a wide range of the cancer-fighting, nervous system-regulating, digestive system-nourishing properties that we know and love + much more.

    OUR EXTRACTION PROCESS:

    Our Reishi extracts in alcohol for 4-6 weeks. After this, the mushrooms are strained and added to a pot & carefully simmered. Once this process is complete and the water cools, it is added to the alcohol extract with the appropriate ratio to ensure shelf stability. It is then to be enjoyed knowing we’ve pulled every good thing this ally has to offer, in the most bioavailable form for our body!

  • take 1-2 droppers daily, evenings being the best time.

    take for 5 days on, 2 days off.

    taken consistently over a long period of time allows for building effects within the body and produces the most therapeutic benefits.

    For children, consume half of the adult dose, or about 10-15 drops at a time. Consult with pediatrician before using.
